1. Jésus-Christ est Seigneur!
Il est sorti du tombeau, Il est Seigneur.
Tout genou fléchira, toute langue confessera
Que Jésus est Seigneur!
2. La parol’ du Seigneur
Est vivante, efficace, plus tranchante
Qu'une épée quelconque qui a deux tranchants:
C’est Christ, notre Seigneur.
3. La parol’ du Seigneur
Est pénétrante, partage âme et esprit,
Jointures et moelles; ell’ juge les sentiments
Et les pensées du cœur.
4. Par la foi nous savons
Que le monde a été fait par la Parole,
En sorte que ce que l'on voit n'a pas été
Fait de choses visibles.
5. La parol’ du Seigneur
Est inspirée du Seigneur et est utile,
Pour enseigner, convaincr’, pour corriger et instruire
Dans la justice’ de Dieu.
6. Je dis en vérité,
"Tant que le ciel et la terr’ ne passent point,
Il ne disparaîtra de la loi un seul iota
Ou un seul trait de lettre."

1. He is Lord, He is Lord,
He is risen from the dead, and He is Lord,
Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess
That Jesus Christ is Lord.
2. For the word of the Lord
Is living and active. Sharper than any
Two-edged sword, piercing even to the division
Of soul and of spirit.
3. The word of the Lord God
Also pierces even to the division
Of joints and marrow, and it judges the thoughts
And intents of the heart.
4. By faith we understand
That the universe was formed at God’s command,
So that what is seen was not made out of what was
Visible; Christ is Lord.
5. The word of the Lord God
Is God-breathed and is useful for teaching,
Rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
Of Jesus Christ our Lord.
6. For assuredly, I say
To you, until heaven and earth pass away,
One jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the
Law till all is fulfilled.
